JAX® brown-black darkener produces a consistent antique brown-black finish on brass, bronze and copper quickly and easily, creating the sepia tones of antique metal. Polish with steel wool or a polishing cloth after applying the darkener to highlight areas on your workpiece. Over-darken surfaces initially, if desired, then relieve the darkness with a polishing cloth or steel wool to duplicate finishes. Workpieces may be waxed, oiled or lacquered to preserve the finish. Contains copper sulfate and ammonium chloride.
